Garrand.ORG

I bought a domain and hosting for a year the other day. It was only $30 from SpliceHost. Not a bad deal at all. I get 25 e-mail addresses, 25 subdomains, and a lot more. Right now I have two subdomains. One is a re-direct to Deb's site here, and the other is for Eliot, whom I call "Foo". He's setting up foo.garrand.org now. I didn't make his nickname up. It was FOU_LOU and someone in chat called him Foo and it stuck. :) I'm actually throwing links in here now. I guess I could start doing that more often. This started out as a place for me to bitch about what's bothering me, now it's evolving a bit into something I can use for other things. Ok.. like I was going on about. Garrand.ORG is just my surname, the org is capitalized for two reasons. To prevent others from automatically throwing ".com" at the end and to prevent myself from doing it as well. Home life has been good. Working and spending time with Deb. I have Wednesday off and Jaime and I plan to go hit golf balls at the driving range 20 minutes from here. I've gone there a couple of times. It's just wide open and kind of dead. We did go in about the last week of the season, but still. It's in Monson, MA, how busy could it be? The idea is not to be around a bunch of golfers, we're not good at all. :) They have a screen set up on the right side to keep balls in. Chris and I hit them over it all the time, it was very funny. Let's see. What else is new? Oh, I play what's called Fantasy Baseball. It's basically a team made up of 21 major league baseball players. The hitters and pitchers get stats for their teams and you use those stats to act as a team against 11 other teams. Stats of your players go up against a different team every week and you try to win. You play all season and have playoffs and a championship. The idea is that you have to keep an eye on your players. You have backups who may be playing better than starters, or injuries to the starters. It's fun to watch sports highlights or games and go for your players. It's no fun when your hitter goes to bat against one of your pitchers. :) Ok.. I'm done for today, but I'll try to update this more often with my everyday happenings. Until next time... --------
