Not much to report...

I've gone a few days without posting, and here's what's been going on. I went to the hospital the other day for my tests. Well, one test. I had to get an ultrasound. What I have is hard to explain, but it is really private and painful at times. Had to go see if it was cancer and as far as they know, it isn't. I still have to decide if I want to get it surgically removed or deal with pain. I don't really like either option. I have another appointment on the 14th, and I have to bring the ultrasound film in. Wish me luck. What else? Oh, I've been working a a lot and haven't had any days off this week yet. I do have Saturday off, because I requested it. Weeks ago we planned to go to the beach when it was hitting 90 here, but it's been cold since then. They say it'll hit 72 on Saturday, but we're still not sure if we'll go to the beach. I want to go somewhere, maybe a day trip to Vermont. That state always calms my nerves, it's very peaceful. I'm still messing with Mandrake Linux 8.2 and other than a few things/settings I want to do, it's working fine. I'd really like to put some sort of shortcut or menu choice for Netscape I installed, but for now I can't see how. I have to go and manually execute the file in the directory. That and the error I get entering Gnome, where it's trying to find a network address for my computer (I'm not on a network) and I can't figure out how to get it to stop checking. It said to add my computer name to the "hosts" file and doing that didn't help. Ah well.. I'll figure things out. Until next time.. --------
