Work, Sleep, Work, Sleep, etc..

I really haven't been doing too much lately but working and sleeping. I do mess around with the computer in between, and then there's the occasional meal. Saturday night we went bowling and my thumb's still pretty sore. They didn't have a ball that fit me well enough. I did average, but not as good as I have in the past. It was hot as hell in the bowling alley in Northampton. That city is our area's little San Fran. If you have an "alternative lifestyle" that is the place to be. I'm not homophobic, but what I say is obvious to people from here. In fact.. I'm so un-homophobic that my favorite state happens to be the only one that allows gay marriages, Vermont. What else to say? Oh, I've been slowly figuring things out in Linux. I installed the traceroute utility that's supposed to be built in, it's nice. It'll round the ms to .xxx like 12.657. Most trace utils will say 12 ms. I've been trying to help my friend Christian make the most of the Dreamcast internet hookup he's using. Since I don't use it and I'm unaware of what it's capable of, it's hard to help him, but I try. I'm too helpful at times. Although I'm up at all hours of the night, I'm usually not talking on the phone. Yet for some reason I try again and again to help Chris on the phone at 2 AM so she can use Ebay on his Dreamcast. I think he finally managed to register and bid. Good for him. Deb's not been feeling well tonight and of course there isn't much I can do. I ask a million times "Can I get you medicine or anything?" and I get her drinks or whatever, but she still feels sick. Hopefully she'll feel better soon, I hate feeling so helpless. Ok, now we're going to bed, so I'll write more another time. Until then... --------
