Google is odd...

Apparently the text of my scott-g.com site makes it the 7th result on Google for a search of "without brown eyes" (out of 14). I found this out by looking at how users got to my site. Several people have gone to scott-g.com lately, in about 10 days that site will no longer exist. If I had to choose which one to keep, I've chosen. I like having my last name represented online, and "scott-g" is too vague with a hyphen in it. Besides.. I get subdomains with this site and I'm thinking of using them more. On my old site I had a set of pages showing pictures from my trips to visit Deb. On this site it might end up being trip.garrand.org. It's easier that way, because it gets it's own directory on the ftp site. You know, I wish I had more close friends online. This is the product of ignoring them all to talk to Deb, but Deb and I are married now so I can't say that side of it didn't work out great. The reason I wish I had more friends online was that I'd like to do a "group blog" some day. The friends I have that use computers wouldn't know what a blog is or how to write in one. Whenever I explain something to them I have to back it up with technical support, and I'm not coaching Brian on blogs every night. I guess my online life is somewhat similar to my offline one, except I do have a few close friends offline. Ah well.. I like how my life is right now. Hmm.. it's Noon, I wonder if the Yankee game's on today? Deb's up now and I have nothing more to say so I'm going to end this now. Until next time... --------
