Happy Father's Day.. next year..

Recently we thought that Deb might be pregnant. This got us thinking about having kids. If she was pregnant we were going to welcome the new addition with open arms. Well it turned out she wasn't, but she will be. In a little while we're going to try for a child. I don't want to take the whole process for granted and say we're definitely going to have one. I know there are chances we won't be able to, but I'm not worried. I'm learning more and more about what it's like to have a child. Much of it is human instinct and we'll have help along the way, but what I don't know I will learn. I've always wanted children, now I'm a couple months off of age 23 and on my way to having one. Wish me luck. Besides the whole baby situation there isn't much. Deb came up with the idea to go to America's Stonehenge on our day off tomorrow, but it seems she's changed her mind. From the minute she mentioned it and showed me the page I was interested, so I still want to go. I do have to admit I have other reasons for wanting to go. We may pass by my Uncle's area and I'd like to go say hi to him, and I'd like to see how my new phone with national coverage works in those parts of NH. The bottom line though, is that I'm interested in what I see pictures of and it's not too far away or too expensive. Oh, and we're going on another trip up north to upstate NY to visit with my relatives. I'm trying not to lose touch with my closest relatives aside from my Mom and brother. To think I went quite a few years without visiting them is foolish. They're not that far away and they're all I know for extended family. My Mom disowned her side of the family and they're on my father's side. I don't know why she doesn't want to visit them like I do, but we're all adults now and we can make separate decisions. I just hate hearing them say "Why isn't your Mom coming up? When is she coming up?" and just sitting there without an answer. I don't see a reason. She only knows them as her family and they've always been nice to her. I guess some things go unexplained. I'm going to end this now. Until next time... --------
