It's been a while...
Well.. I don't have too much to say. as far as this computer goes, it's been a rough couple of days. It finally came to a conclusion when I re-installed Windows XP Pro last night until 5 AM. One thing gained by all this is tremendous speed. The previous install was Xp on top of 98SE and it got kind of slow. The reason I did it is because I installed a version of Linux that was supposed to run better than Windows, it was called Lindows. It's based on BSD Linux, and it's awful. I give up on Linux. The main reason this is faster is because I formatted it as an NTFS partition, it was FAT32 before. If there's one thing I've learned about Windows is not to get too attatched, you might need to wipe it clean. :)
I was watching the Yankees vs. Mets on tv, but it's unbearable. They're losing by a few runs, but that's not it. The broadcasters keep making a big deal out of some stuff that happened a while ago between the Yankees pitcher Roger Clemens and a Mets hitter Mike Piazza. It's only the 6th inning, so they can still come back. I'll keep listening from this room and checking on it occasionally.
By far the thing most on my mind is the fact that Deb hasn't had her "monthly thing" in a while and there is a chance that she might be pregnant. If so, I'll be happy. It's not that I don't want a kid, but I can wait a little while. Obviously if she's pregnant, we're having a child. It's just a lot to think about right now. I'm at a dead end in my thoughts. Until next time...
