Internet connections can be weird sometimes

The better part of 5 days we've been without internet service. Our cable went out and stayed out. It's funny how every time I schedule a future tech appointment, it clears up. The holiday slowed things down, but everything's ok now. We're still driving the Regal, but it's still better than walking. Especially since it's rained like crazy here recently. Work really pissed me off today. I didn't mean to get mad, but it happens. I was waiting on customers as they formed a line 20 people long. I'm doing western union transfers that take a good 5 minutes to do. I have three western union's in a row and I'm supposed to have a co-worker at the desk with me. My co-worker is out helping others, but not really. She says she has to go do something and when she reappears an hour later she mentions that she still hasn't done it! What on earth was she doing while I was getting ragged on by customers in the long line? Who knows.. but it made me upset. I was 4 hours in and wanted a break, I was hungry. I eventually got my food and after that it slowed down. The end of the night was brisk and even enjoyable. I deserved this much, after going through hell before it. Aside from work I didn't do much today. Watched the end of the Yanks game and they beat Boston so I'm happy. I have to drive back to Northampton tomorrow to sign away the insurance checks and then I have to mow my Mom's lawn for her. I better wear my raggy sneakers.. I hate getting good sneakers all green and grassy. :) Ok.. I'm done for now.. until next time.. --------
