Are you open tomorrow?

This is all they asked, about 100 times on Saturday night. Part of my job at the customer service desk is answering the phone. The store was open today (Easter) and everyone called last night to ask. I was very peeved by all of it, but I still managed to count my stuff and get out on time. Today we slept in and are going out to dinner with my Mom at 5. It's not really a big holiday. Mostly because Deb's father died on Easter 3 years ago. For me it'd just be wrong to fake it for holidays. It's a religious holiday and I'm not religious. That's all it boils down to. The same goes for Christmas. My extended family all make a big deal over it and some of them still go to church. I never did go to church. This makes me think. I'll probably have to do all the holidays when we have kids, because of their friends. If all their classmates have candy and gifts on Easter and they don't they'll feel bad. I don't think I'll make my kids go to church. Why would I? If they get to a certain age and decide that they want to, that's perfectly okay with me. That's how my Mom was with us. My brother went sometimes, I chose not to. It's a pretty nice day today and it looks like it'll stay around or above 50 degrees from now on. I hope so because I hate cold weather in April. We went through one of the worst winters in recent years and we're all ready for a nice warm summer. Not that I'm a sun or beach person.. I just don't like freezing my ass off. Oh, I found an interesting site that streams movies at a steady 350K and they look good at full screen. I don't think I can really link it here, but if e-mailed I'd reply with a link. :) Well.. I'm going to go now and see what that site has up for movies today. Until next time.. --------
