Deb's Mom went home.. still looking for a job..

Well we took Deb's Mom to the airport this morning. It was a very good visit overall. We didn't really have to entertain her because she made herself at home after a while. Nothing much going on today, just listening to the Yankees game and relaxing. The latest job I'm looking at for full time employment is AAA. It's a customer service rep position that sounds like something I could handle and actually enjoy. We'll have to wait and see. It's a second shift position 3-11 so it wouldn't be much of an adjustment. The thing about this full time job search is that you have to be patient. I'm not a very patient person, but I'll have to learn. On the child front things seem to be progressing quicker. This means as soon as I get settled in a decent full time job we'll probably try to have a kid. I'd be lying if I said Deb wasn't being influenced by others. My brother's wife is pregnant, Deb's best friend is pregnant, her cousin is pregnant, and I'm sure there are many more I've forgotten. I want a child as much as she does, but we need to be more financially stable first. I just hope we're not taking "having" a child for granted. No one knows if my little fishies are good swimmers or if she's fertile, but I guess we'll find out soon enough. I know I'll be a good father, but a good father wouldn't bring a child into the world when he isn't ready. Ok.. I'm done.. until next time.. --------
