A lot going on..

I haven't written in this blog much the past couple of days because I've been pretty busy. I was doing the two jobs day and night and squeezing in some sleep and time with my wife. She's been nice enough to wake up with me in the mornings and go to bed at the same time I do. It's hard to sleep when I try to sleep alone. There have been times I had to go to bed very early to wake up early the next day and she wasn't tired so she stayed up. In those cases I play the radio and fall asleep in time. It doesn't take too long, just longer than if she were in bed beside me. Anyway.. I think I've driven that point home. The day job was in sales and we were told we wouldn't have to generate our own leads (which is most of the bother involved). Come to find out we DO have to generate leads. All of them. Along with this truth, other truths start slowly surfacing and I realize it's pretty much a scam. So there goes four days wasted. One day was merely applying, so it's more like three. The bottom line is really that I don't want to do shifty sales work. You get a very small commission for selling something very expensive. Obviously someone's making far more off you. This and the fact that they prod you to "recruit" others all the time bothered me. Back to the drawing board.. already a few jobs on the list, none of which are sales.. until tomorrow.. --------
