Things starting to look up..

Well I woke up this morning at about 8:30. By the time I get to the computer it's 8:40. Check e-mail and one is there, sent at 8:35. I didn't think much of it at first. It was a response to the e-mail I sent about the AAA CS rep position. It says to call them at that extension. I do that and the lady specifically remembers sending the e-mail a few minutes ago and makes the appointment for 10 AM tomorrow. I can't say for sure how good this is, I haven't gone there yet. Tomorrow should be a good day. I'm going to shave real good (I'm always scruffy faced) and dress nice in hopes of my appearance not undermining my qualifications. I've never worked in a call center environment before, but I know I can handle it. I answer phones all the time. I answer a phone while training a co-worker on western union transfers and doing lottery tickets. They say they want multi-tasking.. I say bring it on! On the plus side it's got tons of benefits included. Some of which I don't even understand. Health, dental, 401K, STD, LTD, etc. I don't need STD insurance, I'm married! I know some people that definitely could use STD insurance. Ok, enough of that. I hope this place is as relaxed as the other call centers I've applied for. The thinking is that you're answering phones so it doesn't matter if you answer them in a suit or jeans and a t-shirt. I sure hope they share that thinking. Come to think of it, I don't own a suit. I used to have a tux from when my Uncle got married and I was 5, but I don't think that will fit. A tux isn't the same as a suit anyway. Ok.. I better stop before I get too goofy.
