I fought the law and.. I won?

Today I went to fight a $110.50 speeding ticket. If I would've lost it would've been $120.50. A small price for a chance to pay nothing. I get there like 20 minutes early and wait. I go in the court room and wait some more. At 1:05 the judge comes in, and dismisses all of us. The state trooper never showed up. I won, by default. I would've won anyway, because the burden of proof lies with the state and they were never going to prove it. Mainly because I wasn't speeding. Nevertheless.. I'm happy. Not only will I save the cost of the ticket but the cost of higher insurance rates. I don't have much else to talk about.. until tomorrow.. --------
