Bills keep coming..

We're managing to keep things from being shut off or anything like that, but it's not easy. It has been really hard to get a better paying job (read: full time). I believe I've got the one at the insurance claims place I tested for, but there's just the matter of my references. My part time job pulled it's "store policy" out when asked for one. They gave the company a 900 (toll number) number to call to verify my employment. This potential employer of mine will not pay for a reference. I can understand that. In place of that they said they'd accept a personal reference from me. I gave my friend Chris' name and number. We're anxiously awaiting their call to him. After that we should be okay. I'm attempting to get going with a Packet8 (my phone provider) affiliate program. I'm not going to spam anyone or be a slick con man, but I hope to get a few referrals to help me pay at least that phone bill. It's a good deal, to be truthful.
