Finally it happens!

I've been waiting for something good to happen for what seems like forever. Today I got a call from the job I went down and tested for. I figured that not getting back to me meant I wasn't hired, but that wasn't the case. They called to say that I got the job. I went to some odd place to do my piss test and I'm all set. I start on August 6th. I have such a sense of direction it surprises me. I had to go through the ghetto to this little family medical center for the pee pee test, but I had no clue how to get there. I took a long way that I thought I could figure out. A few guesses as far as left or right and voila! I pulled up, peed, and left. Needless to say I'm very happy. Today's my brother's birthday. I tried to call him in the late AM, but he was sleeping. I'll call him in a few minutes when I'm done this. We had to go in and talk to the part time job today about our availability and have come to the conclusion that I'm done there. It's just not going to happen. I offered to work a couple days a week, but they can't do that. Fuck 'em. I shouldn't have offered anyway. Until tomorrow.. --------
