Making it happen..

The job I'll hopefully be getting hasn't calling Chris yet. It's frustrating to think that he most likely won't answer the phone if/when they do call. At first the deal was that Sandy (argh) would answer and wake Chris up, but now Sandy sleeps all day with him. I stopped by today to borrow gas for my Mom's lawnmower and they were sleeping. So I did the only thing I could think of and called the place and left a message stating three more personal references they could call. Co-workers keep saying "You can add me.. I'll talk to them". It's a show of how popular I really am at this place I work now. I'm pleased about that I guess. While at my Mom's house she gave me a loaf of bread (she bought two, only wanted one), $10, made plans to go grocery shopping tomorrow (on her), and out to eat Sunday (what a great Mom I have). She's helping me out when I need it most. I know she doesn't have hundreds to loan me, but things like this really do help. Tonight Deb is going to play pool (free on Mon, Tues, and Thurs for women) with a girlfriend of hers. I was invited, but I'd like for her to have some time with friends. I'll stay home and go on the computer. :) Last night I spent all night after work reading pages on the Nigerian Advance Fee Scam AKA 419 scam. One in particular had a lot of funny stories (they bait the scammers and build a dialogue with them). He also had a good bit of links. I invite you to take a look at this site. It has a funny name (so does mine!), but it's a good site. It's Ebola Monkey Man. Check it out. We're gonna go pick up Deb's check now.. until tomorrow.. (I mean it this time, honest!) --------
