Thrown a curve

Well I went to my "orientation" for the new job today (Wed). I thought training would start the following Monday or a week or two from then. It turns out that training is actually 3 1/2 weeks, starting now. If I can get through all the material and tests I know I can do the job. That's actually the easiest part. I can handle people and I can handle taking calls and inputting data. It's these trivial tests requiring me to memorize various random words and facts that might screw me up. It's basically learning their rhetoric and slogans. I know how to do customer service. I have to be heading to bed now. I'll be running from job to job for a while and I need all the sleep I can squeeze in. Until later.. hopefully tomorrow.. --------
