Missed quite a few days..
I'm not going to be like all these others with blogs that never get updated, really. Some people should just take theirs down, because they've obviously got the time to post in it. I guess it's popular amongst some inner circles to be above updating your page. Your site is so good that you don't have to give your visitors anything new. Luckily I don't have many visitors to disappoint. My Mom has recently gotten AOL (something we'll try to fix after the free trial) and she may stop by. I've never said a bad word about my family on here so it doesn't matter to me if they read this. In fact.. have at the archives, it's all there.. back to 2/02. I know my brother visits here occasionally and that's cool too. Chris and Brian have stopped by.. the more the merrier!
Right now there is a big void in my life when it comes to sports. I watch the occasional Notre Dame game on NBC, but that's it. Baseball is over and I may follow college basketball when it comes time, but nothing serious until March or so. I am in a "sports Alaska" with six months of darkness until baseball season. Well it's not quite six months exactly, but close enough. I've been going crazy applying for jobs and none have panned out thus far. I started off more picky, but not anymore. I'm trying to get Deb to take things more seriously. I get onto her about how she needs to get to a place in her mind where she's ready to take the GED test. I think she is just shrugging me off at this point, like a parent telling their kid to clean their room. I think she can pass it outright, but she thinks she needs to study but won't. She won't get a job here until she gets that GED.
Once I get a job things will take off. I keep telling myself that and it's still true. The goal is the same, but the job status is the same as well. First thing I'm doing when I get a job is getting Comcast cable internet. I'm sorry, but having had DSL or cable since early 1999 I'm pretty much accustomed to it. I hate 56K, but that's life. I'll try to update this more often. Until next time..
