The real deal
That's the slogan for the place I'm going to be working at soon. I have the interview tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it. Despite the extreme negativity from Deb, (saying it's a seasonal thing and I'll be let go) I think I'll be there a while. As much as I made fun of the whole thing up in MA I really missed it after I left. I miss the customer interaction and some other jobs just aren't the same. Sure you can be friendly and nice to a person calling in an auto accident, but you won't be met with any sort of pleasant attitude in return. Tonight is Halloween and we didn't get too many trick-or-treaters. I guess things in this neighborhood have slowed down over the years. Not that many houses had their porch lights on so maybe the kids didn't bother.
I'm really hot right now. The heat here doesn't seem to affect others that are used to it, but I actually liked the cool weather up in MA. It's good for Deb I guess, but I'm sweating daily for nothing. I've lost my train of thought. That which is usually flowing like a river when I listen to Pearl Jam. I had to lock Winamp on Pearl Jam because it's Deb's computer and I never know what cock-eyed song might pop up with random play. She does have a lot of good songs, but there are ten I don't like for every one I do like.
I can't wait to get cable internet and both computers up. I can't wait to work one or two jobs so I can come home and have that feeling of guilt lifted every time I use the computer. I feel bad whenever I use it because I'm sitting on my ass not working. Not that I don't want to work, but I can't force companies to hire me. I think I'll end this now. Until next time..
