Yankees lose World Series

It's a good thing I've learned to level my emotions out about sports, otherwise I'd be pretty worked up. I love to see my team win, but have come to accept losing much better than in the past. I really feel bad for the team and the backlash they'll get from their owner George Steinbrenner more than anything. Next year they will put another good team on the field with a chance to win. It's bittersweet in a way, because we beat our most bitter rivals, the Red Sox, in game 7 of that series. The Yankees making it and losing is better than losing to the Red Sox. I called my Mom today and talked for a little while. My brother is visiting her this weekend and she was watching his two daughters when I called. We talked about the flurries they got up there and the mid 80's I've got here. Deb's Mom is taking us to the Jacksonville Fair tomorrow, her treat. It should be nice. We wanted to go, but we don't have the money to spend. Tomorrow is the last day of it. I'm just a bit depressed or sad at the moment so I don't have much to say. I'll write more tomorrow and talk about how the fair was. Monday should be a big day, maybe I'll finally see daylight with the employment situation. We'll see.. until tomorrow.. --------
