Makes no sense

I went to go for the interview yesterday and they have the most illogical set up in the world. Apparently the person responsible for each employee in the front of the store also does the interviewing. She asked me to come in on Saturday a few hours before one of the biggest games of the year. The annual Florida vs. Georgia game held in Jacksonville. Well what do you know, it was busy. I sat around waiting for 20 minutes until she just said to come back on Monday at noon. She'll be too busy then as well. She shouldn't even be the one doing it in the first place. I know that I'll be glad to start working there and just be one of the three cashiers staying busy all day. Now I know I have the job, it's really a no-brainer. It takes typically between 2 and 3 weeks before you can get someone by to install cable internet. I wanted to order it now and just wait however long, but Deb doesn't think I have the job yet. She really doesn't seem to care if we get cable or not. I suggested she use 56K while I work, use, and pay for the cable internet. I don't think Deb wants to work and there's no way to make someone do something they don't really want to do. It's all indirectly of course. To get a job she needs her GED. To get the GED she needs to study. She hasn't studied since we were in Mass over two weeks ago. I know we live with her Mom, but it's no excuse to crawl in a hole and die or give up trying to earn our own money. Until next time. --------
