Free Long Distance for the Holidays

I've mentioned Free World Dialup (FWD) on here many times before, but this is big. Before now FWD was only good for person to person communication over their network, but not this month. Until the end of the month anyone who signs up for a free FWD account can use Windows Messenger, or the free self-configuring X-Lite program to call any phone in the USA for free. Just plug in a headset you have laying around or even headphones and an old microphone I know you have. The instructions and announcement are here. Give it a shot! What have you got to lose? A few minutes of free time. Aside from that little announcement not much has been going on here. I was going over my benefits with the new job and they're so good. Not only are they giving me two free lines, but they offer so much more. If Deb and I end up not being able to have children they offer adoption assistance. They offer tuition reimbursement, short term disability, discounts on things from insurance to child care, they offer tons of "PTO" (paid time off) and medical benefits. I don't know why I'm going on about this, but I'm not used to having all this. There's a lot more than I can mention here. I think that's the way to keep employees happy, offer them lots of benefits. :) Until tomorrow.. I've got a Duke game to watch.. --------
