Cold wave moving in..
People are breaking out their long johns and heavy jackets now. It is currently 44 degrees here in Florida. I hear it was in the 30's yesterday with a "real feel" temp of around 24. To tell you the truth I like it. I'm the only one at work that will go outside for any extended period on lunch. I was wearing long sleeves, and it was enough. It was probably 50 during the day, with some sun. To these people (thin blooded?) that is very cold. On Sunday it got to 79 degrees. Pretty big swing in temperature, but the 79 bothers me more than the 30's. I just can't seem to stay cool in the warmer weather.
Today we were able to see our checks online. The first one is mailed to us and each after that will be direct deposited. With my discount banking from work I even got a free savings account. I just think a savings account that charges a large fee is counterproductive. How can you save money if you're paying large fees? Besides the free savings we switched our "free checking without checks" to an "at work" checking account. Still free, but we get a free order of checks. We get 50 or 100.. either way they'll last forever. I'm just about out of free time tonight. Until tomorrow.
