The long uncomfortable ride home..

The trip from Baltimore to Springfield was a long one. It took over 9 hours total and by far the trip from Wilmington, DE to NYC was the worst. I sat next to the little boy from the Nutty Professor that the mother was saying "Hercules, Hercules, Hercules.." to. This kid was like 10 years old and much heavier than I am. I'm not a small guy by any means. This kid was eating something the whole time in the most annoying way. He took up all of his seat and some of mine. The nice lady in front of me slammed her seat back into me as soon as she sat down. I was a real sardine for that part of the trip. The last leg of the trip from NYC into Springfield was great. No seat crunching my knees and no one sitting next to me. I put on a hooded sweat shirt and pulled the hood over my head to sleep. I slept a few good hours and the bus ended up getting in around 5:10 or so. We got caught in a thunderstorm in CT, but other than that it wasn't too rainy. I finally got a solid night of sleep last night so today I feel more alive than I've felt the past few days. The only times I was truly awake were the games I went to. It's hard not to be awake when you're seeing your favorite team twice in two days. I have to take Deb to work soon. Until tomorrow.. --------
