Chicken and Dumplings..

Not southern style where the dumplings are egg noodles, but actual Bisquick drop dumplings and thick gravy. Throw in some pieces of potato, chicken and you have the meal sitting before me at this very minute. My mom cooks occasionally and I love it. I have work in about an hour and a half. I could rant on and on about things at work pissing me off, but they're minor things and not worth worrying about. I guess any job will have some things about it that bother you. I'm still caught up in the college idea right now. I submitted my FASFA application and there was no place to say "I have a dependent arriving on 9/1" so they have my EFC (Expected Family Contribution) at 3916. This is because I'm married and we don't, as of this moment, have any children. I'm not sure what the number means, no site seems to explain the values and how they pertain to financial aid. They do say that most schools figure in their own factors. Chris and I are visiting STCC Monday to pick up the fall class book. He's still attending and excited that I will be too. So am I. :) When it all comes down to it I'll be doing homework at work in the patrol car and no one will mind. One of the night bosses says that would be okay to do. I don't serve as much of a purpose as the flashing lights do in all reality. I've got to eat and leave soon enough. Until tomorrow.. --------
