Interleague play.. hot summer in New England..
It's that time of the year again. The American League and the National League play each other. I'd be lying to you if I said I was intrigued by my Yankees playing Colorado. Personally I could care less about these games. They all count so I want the Yankees to win and the Red Sox to lose, but unless it's the Mets vs. Yankees and you're in New York I don't see the excitement in it. I just don't want to see my team get beat by the Brewers or Pirates. They had better beat those teams if they play them.
These next few days it will be in the mid 90's. Oddly enough the whole week before and after Tuesday and Wednesday it will be in the 70's, but those two days will be about 20 degrees warmer. Usually I scoff at the weather man and his predictions, but it was in the 90's today. It was actually a few degrees warmer than in Florida today. That is a rare occurrence for sure. I'm glad we don't live in hell anymore. No offense to any Floridians passing by, but excessive heat is.. well.. just that, excessive. Unnecessary, unbearable, you pick the term because they all fit. I've gotta go. Until tomorrow..
