Honesty is not the best policy..

With all of my previous jobs I never mentioned my brief military history. With the threat of this new place finding out (because of their extensive application process) on their own I mentioned it this time. That was a big mistake. I am having a lot of trouble getting my discharge paper, otherwise known as a DD214. They will not hire me without this form so I either get it or I can't work there. There may be a way to pull it off without waiting 6 months, so we'll see. I hope it can be done. Other than that not much else is going on. Of course we're getting closer to the birth of my first child and Deb will be out of work soon. This happens just as I'm in this situation with my job. It's very frustrating, but it'll all work out in the end. If not this job, then it'll be something else. Until tomorrow.. --------
